Comments: Phases of gaming you might experience if you visit our house

hahahahaha @ "Halo and Gears of War can get off my lawn"!

I'm a Mario girl all the way. But I'm loving Guitar Hero III, looking forward to Rock Band, and I play World of Warcraft way too much!

If you came to our house right now you'd be forced to play Wii Tennis with us or watch us try to beat Guitar Hero on medium. With the writer's strike now, I am very happy to have my video games.

Ha ha! That is excellent and so true. Not that I'd know because I'm like that. Not at all.

Ok, fine maybe I am, but I avoid some of the issues later in your list by going online and finding cheat codes so that when the game cheats, I can cheat right back.

Also, I may or may not have (when I was much younger) thrown a Sega Genesis cartridge against the wall.

HA! Craig! I'm waiting for the day when our staircase caves in because of all the running upstairs to the computer to find cheat codes.

Trix - I want that Rock Band SO BAD. Tony played it in the store the other day and said that the drum kit is REALLY hard to synchronize, but I don't care. MICROPHONE! ME WANT MICROPHONE!

OMG, I thought my husband was the only one who accused video games of trying to cheat him! I am constantly saying things like "If you're not HAVING FUN why don't you do something else? GOD!"

So how's Assassin's Creed so far? That one's on my list. *So* many great-looking games coming out now. Tell me how good the game is, but mostly tell me how much Kristen Bell there is in it. Because you and I both know that Kristen Bell is what's really important in this world.

The current game to beat in our house is Guitar Hero III...my husband almost has it beat and my son (7) already has a decent band career while I still get booed off stage trying to play Slow Ride (which will make me scream if I hear it again). The killing games are usually rented and beat in a day or two when the kids and I happen to be out of town. PS I'm waiting for your thoughts on TAR..tell me you're watching Kynt and Vyksin or however they spell it.
