We tried walking one of our cats once or twice when he was much younger, and he was quite fond of the flop and flip routine, trying to pull to collar off ... and thus we tried creating a harness out of a combo of 2 collars and the leash ... and he still was Not Impressed. I am impressed that you managed a small breakthrough in cat ownership, with at least some forward movement while attached to a leash!

Funny, we were just laughing because one of our neighbors was out walking their cat on a leash and harness. Perhaps they were just trying to work the extra energy out of him so he wasn't a bully.
