Honestly, this is the last g.d. time I ever do one of these BlahBlahMoBlah things. I know they're all the rage, and it seemed like a good idea, but maybe if the topic was something more interesting, like "Gay Men I Adore Month" (GaMeAdMo), or "Shoes and Cosmetics I Am Coveting-Mo" (ShoCoCoMo), I wouldn't have run out of steam and been so boring. Don't get me wrong - I love being vegan and I'm glad I shared a month of vegan food with all (three) of you. As you have seen, veganism doesn't mean beaded doorways, macrame and patchouli. In fact, it even includes take out!

There's an Asian restaurant in the little strip mall at the corner of our Stepford-ish development. Not only do they serve food entirely void of MSG (yay!), they have the best m.f.ing Kung Pao tofu I have ever eaten in my life. So good that we were ordering from them two to three times a week all summer long (along with veg dumplings and steamed mixed veggies...). The tofu is always pan-fried to perfection, the sauce is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy, and the peppers always have the right amount of crispy crunch. Soooo good. If you come to visit us, we'll order it, k?

Tomorrow is the last day of Vegan MoFo so I'm saving my all-time FAVORITE vegan yummy for the very last post. Can you guess what it is? A demain, mes amis!
