Our new car

After months of deliberation and drooling, we finally broke down and added this little guy to our collection of Stuff We Absolutely Do Not Need But Want Really Really Like A Lot:

Apparently when you become a MINI owner, it is customary to name the car, so I'll let you know when we decide on a name for him. Right now all we know is that he's definitely a boy.

Months? If only. This obsession started sometime in early '06. It only went dormant for a long while as I waited for the '07s. The active part, months. But it would be unfair to the mental anguish this obsession has invoked to say "months".

I'll return to the fetal position now.

omg, JEALOUS!!!! I have been drooling and coveting those since they were re-released. It will be my next car so I am waiting patiently for my warranty to expire so I can trade her in.

I love that one!!!! Cant' wait to learn the name - he is so beautiful he should be named Beau.

He should be named Bobby or Nigel because every time I see one of those cars I expect some British bobbies to come popping out. Nigel because I've never heard of an American named Nigel.

Sandy, I suggested Nigel, too! But it seems that Nigel is the "Michael" of the MINI world - more common than not. Tony is thinking Huxley or Winston, I kind of like Declan.
