Now that I'm on vaca, I'm spending inordinate amounts of time playing around with blogging software and entertaining futile dreams of becoming a web designer. And then I mess with code and get pissed off.

One discovery I just made is that I had a whole buncha comments that I never received email notifications for. which ticks me off! Our webhost has been all kinds of poopy lately, and apparently the email notification settings on my site are majorly messed up. So if you left me a comment and I didn't acknowledge or respond to it, I SO SORRY!

Also, if you've had trouble in the past leaving comments here, it might be because of the Passphrase feature I enabled to prevent spam (which, by the way, has performed beautifully!). At the bottom of the comment submission window is a little box where you have to answer a question before your comment will post. That might be the problem some folks have been encountering when they try to leave me a comment.
