Considering the conditions Smooshy was living in before we got her, I wouldn't be surprised if she brought it in, especially after reading about these increased risk factors:
Multicat households, catteries, and pet adoption shelters, especially those with:
* Overcrowding
* Physical (e.g., temperature) or psychological (e.g., introduction of a new cat) stressors
* Poor nutrition
* Poor sanitation
* Poor ventilation
Her right eye was all goopy yesterday and Emmett's left eye has been watering. He's sneezing, too. Linus and Ariel tend to keep to themselves but it's only a matter of time before they pick it up, since they all share dishes, water bowls and litter boxes.
Ew, though! Herpes! Maybe I can hire them out for a Valtrex commercial to offset some of these g.d. vet costs!
