Impossible as it may seem, Tony and I don't know as much useless information as we thought. This became clear to us after we and our friend Will auditioned for The World Series of Pop Culture Trivia this weekend in New York.

VH1 and Entertainment Weekly are scouring the country to find 16 three-person teams who think they’ve got what it takes to compete in the most intense pop culture trivia tournament to date, THE WORLD SERIES OF POP CULTURE.

Our friends Melissa, Jen, and Shawn also made an attempt, but none of us made the grade. I'd blab the entire story to you ad nauseum, but we had to sign a confidentiality agreement that we wouldn't reveal any information about the audition process to anyone.

And so this concludes my boring entry about auditioning for a game show.

Gosh it's a small world. Three of my friends were in the pilot episode of that show and won.

I saw the info on the VH1 website about that, but not until it was too late and the auditions anywhere near me were all booked.

Let me tell you, I thought I was the queen of trivia until I took this test. It was g.d. HARD! It was fun participating in the casting process, though. We also got the heads up on tickets for the taping, so we're going to get to be in the audience anyway.
