Oh. My. God. We. Have. So. Much. Shit.
Oh. My. God. We. Have. So. Much. Shit.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Why do you think I dread the mere thought of selling this packrat pit at some point in time???
I know what you mean. Fam and I moved 15+ years ago and I vowed that I would have to be carried out of here in a body bag or led out by the hand to a nursing home. Never again!
The best part of moving? When the burly moving man went downstairs and came back up, alone, holding my washer on his back, with one strap. Impressive, that.
Worse than my moving was when my sis and I had to clean out our late parents' home. My dad had saved a whole box of 3-way bulbs that were now, sadly, one-way. (And he was NOT hurting for money!) He also always used 5 pounds of masking tape to seal every box of Christmas ornaments, as though they were straining to be free during the other 50 weeks of the year. Sometime before that, we asked Mom why SHE had long saved a completely broken little plastic transistor radio. "...but it had been such a GOOD little radio..." Oy. I miss them.
So there ya go, some of that stuff that you are moving will stay where you place it until you croak.
Have a nice day.....
I hate moving!!!! You never realize how much crap you accumulate until you have to pack it all away and while you are packing you wonder why you even kept some of the crap in the first place.
This is a good time to clean and throw out!
Oh girl, I feel your pain. HOW is this going to fit into Bootsy's truck? And why do I have all these clothes I don't wear?
Just a few more weeks!
The last time I moved, I made 8 trips to the dump, and the place we moved too was twice as big...stuff has a way of piling up.
this is exactly why I hate moving. Actually, I think this is the sole reason that I haven't left my current job. Good luck with it all.
