Not cool

As if you didn't already know this, I am a fricking dork. I like to pretend I am cool, but really, I am not. Thus, I present to you...

PROOF THAT I AM NOT COOL

These are my glasses.

I own this karaoke machine and use it, sometimes alone.

I got these Harry Potter pop-up books as a gift a couple of months ago. I AM 33 YEARS OLD.

I like to do these. A lot.

I bought this. Paid actual money for it. Recently.

I have three of these. I had four but I gave one away. One for the car, one for the house and one to keep wrapped (see above) just in case. JUST IN CASE OF WHAT???

The Best of Donny and Marie videos. Do I actually watch them? You may have noticed in the picture that one of the video sleeves is EMPTY.

Cartman from South Park. When you pick him up, he says "Kick Ass!" and "I'm Not Fat, I'm Big Boned! and "Yeah, I Want Cheesy Poofs!" I pick him up about a million times a day. Again, I AM 33 YEARS OLD.

My Emeril Lagasse cookbook collection. Every single one is signed because twice I hunted him down like a good little stalker and that doesn't include the trip I took to Florida just to eat in his fricking restaurant. He wasn't even there.

Ohio geek checking in. Age 42, wanna be 17, love Clay Aiken, actually tried to start a revolt against SBC because no calls from Columbus were registered for final vote - SBC says they were overloaded. I am in college, a sophomore, love it, married to my soul mate for 5 years, no kids, 2 cats, I'm a fiction writer and a free lance designer with similiar glasses - and a new bottle of red polish for my toes and a new set of eye brow pluckers. LMAO! Thank you *so* much for the laugh. I likewise I own the Clay Aiken single, which I have on repeat on my CD player, I call radio stations to fight with them over the lack of Clay Aiken (really, I have! Multiple times!), I entered a TV station contest online 300 times to win tickets to the American Idol Concert just so I could see Clay Aiken. I am 23 years old, not 13. I *voluntarily* read dead philosophers. I teach myself computer languages in my spare time. I write ER fanfiction - I've written ER *slash* fanfiction. I've written ER/BTVS crossover slash fanfiction because I had this dirty fantasy of Carter screwing Spike. I have the entire BTVS musical on my computer - both in video format and all the songs in mp3 format. Needless to say I have it all memorized. I'm a fan of Newsies. I voluntarily study science. Just go read my diary, I'm a complete and utter dork.

I so wanna be like you when I grow up!!!yeah, I'm a geek/nerd/dork too. Can't say I have the Clay fetish since I'm an Aussie and only know of him from reading your diary....but the rest rings a little too close to home. 28 years of age and I too sing kareoke ALONE.....sometimes my son joins in if he's not bent over double laughing. (Which is why I tend to sing Kareoke when they are in bed asleep.)
