Curious

After receiving a message from my new friend Gump, I realized something.

I have not and will not talk about my job on this diary. Ever.

I'm not trying to be secretive or anything, it's just that my job tends to devour me physically, mentally and emotionally. This diary is an outlet for me to escape total consumption.

I can be my attention-seeking dork-ass self on this one page. Without reservation or censorship. It's wonderful.

However, I am curious about one thing. I know there are some people who read my diary on a regular basis (thanks so much for contributing to my stats addiction) and have read a bunch of my past entries. I was wondering...

What do you think I do for a living?

Those of you who do know, just don't answer or, better yet, make up something funny. Any excuse to be snarky...

I want to say you are a teacher. But you are too cool to be a high school teacher and still feel like your job sucks your soul (or something like that). You were an English major. I remember that. Are you an editor of something? Or are you an insurance company Customer Service Rep? If you are I am very, very, very sorry. That job will suck your soul.

I think you were the girl eliminated from American Idol before the first round. No just kidding... I would guess: That you worked in a stuff office willed with halgen lights and cubicals. You would talk to the mail boy as he would pass, and often grab a lunch with some of your other cubical workers. You job would be vauge at best, and you seek meaning in your day by counting the seconds as they tick away or until you move into a diffrent nicer cublical. But until then you put in numbers and file reports. (yes no?)

Marie, why you trying to fool everyone? You and I both know that you eagerly took the job as my nurse during my week long recovery from Lasik surgery. Stop lying, Jesus doesn't like it and neither do I! By the way when you come to LA, bring that darling Kelly you keep talking about, she sounds like fun!

oh how I want you to be a writer...but I'm thinking you are either Clay's fashion consultant - doing a mighty fine job I might add - or you are working in communications or public relations, or you work at a high end fashion store as a manager.
